Mobile Integration Workgroup has an immediate opening supporting one of North America’s largest cellular operators in the pre-production engineering and validation of their EPC/ 5G platforms.
The role will be helping our client in their platform testing and validation, and you will be expected to develop a working relationship with the customer.
The successful candidate will have a good technical knowledge of EPC/5G and its interfaces and be eager to expand any existing 5G skills in a dynamic working environment.
This is an on-site job at client lab location in Redmond WA.
We have requirement for three Linux Security System Engineers with a background in a variety of Linux platforms & tools, and customer collaboration.
Our client, a tier 1 mobile network operator, is transforming the way it manages security on its pre-production network activities. You will join a small, highly skilled MIW team that are establishing centralized security capabilities to drive efficiencies and remove routine, repetitive security related tasks from our client’s architects and engineers.
This role will act as the technical interface between a set of our client’s platform teams and MIW’s centralized security resources. You will be on the front line with our client, so you need excellent verbal and written communication skills and have experience dealing with client teams. When there is a security action or issue in the platform team you are responsible for, you will be expected to work with both the client and MIW teams to troubleshoot, identify, and support resolution activities.
If you have Linux experience, are interested in expanding your security skills, and thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment, this could be the position for you.
This is a remote position, so we are considering well qualified-candidates working remotely within the USA mainland.
Candidates will be expected to support teams working in different time zones throughout the USA.
All candidates will be expected to work remotely at times, so they will need to have a suitable working environment with robust internet connectivity.
MIW has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Telecom Systems Engineer to join a team providing services to one of the country’s largest cellular operators.
The successful candidate will join MIW’s existing, high-performance team engaged in the development, testing, deployment, and support a proprietary automated network testing platform for a US Tier 1 cellular network operator. The team collaborates with the automation tool architects and developers, test equipment OEM, and our client’s internal platform/ service owners to identify and implement automation to increase the efficiency and accuracy of network testing. This team is supporting automation on both legacy networks/ services and new/emerging network/ services including 5G and FirstNet.
This requires personnel with excellent communication skills, expert knowledge in troubleshooting telecom networks and services, and a hunger to learn more about new technologies.
Remote, well-qualified candidates will be considered. The team is based in Redmond, WA and candidates will be expected to support working in Pacific Time Zone working hours.
As remote work will be expected, even for those located in WA, all candidates will need to have access to a suitable working space to perform their duties remotely, including adequate internet connectivity.
On a day-to-day basis this Senior DevOps will work as part of a DevOps team to develop and maintain a workflow-based system to allow AT&T to automate Network Function Virtualization activities using an ECOMP, ONAP and OpenStack based infrastructure.
